The course exposes the student to theoretical and experimental aspects of the subject, which have become central to the physical, biological and material sciences. It provides a route not only to more advanced aspects of the subject but also to such diverse fields as biochemistry, chemical biology, nanotechnology and Nano-biotechnology.

Core knowledge of science is the only way to occupy leading positions in research institutes and industrial laboratories.

The teaching pedagogy in B.Sc. comprises of the following things
For PCM: 10+2 Science with Mathematics with 45% marks.
For ZBC: 10+ 2 Science with Biology with 45% marks.
Admission will be done at the college level, based on 10+2 merit, aptitude test & personal interview. The college authorities have the Right to accept/reject any application of admission on any ground (s).
Students can seek admission in many interdisciplinary post-graduate courses like M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree and other research work in many reputed institutions. Bachelor of Science stimulates curiosity and promotes scientific discovery. Learning of science develops the power of observation, logical thinking and scientific attitude. It prepares the candidates for increasingly inter and multi-disciplinary careers in the field of science. Graduates in science are not confined to just science based fields, they can work in a wide variety of non-scientific areas too.
They can seek out for career in research laboratories, Government corporations, banking and finance sector and so on. Apart from this, science graduates can also find jobs in IT industry, business, BPO, marketing, technical writing and so on. After the successful completion of either of the programmes, one can apply for all graduate level jobs offered by public sector firms, government departments etc.. M.Sc. degree in the respective field will definitely improve the chances to get into a much rewarding job. The degree will be helpful to find good career options in education/research field too.
