RKIOP Celebrates Freshers’ Party 2025 – Satrangi Soirée

On 11th October 2025, RK Institute of Pharmacy celebrated its much-awaited Freshers’ Party with the vibrant theme “Satrangi Soirée.”

The event was filled with color, music, and excitement as students showcased their talents through dance and singing performances, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere. The celebration marked a warm welcome to the new batch, fostering camaraderie and enthusiasm among all students.

RKIOP Conducts Awareness Campaign in Ruriya, Faridpur

On 26th September 2025, as part of the continued World Pharmacist Day celebrations, RK Institute of Pharmacy organized an awareness campaign at Gram Panchayat Ruriya, Faridpur.

Students actively interacted with villagers, spreading awareness about the risks of open defecation, the dangers of self-medication, and the harmful effects of drug abuse. The campaign emphasized the importance of safe hygiene practices and responsible use of medicines, aligning with the institute’s mission of promoting public health.

RKIOP Organizes Rally on World Pharmacist Day

On the afternoon of 25th September 2025, RK Institute of Pharmacy organized a rally in Faridpur as part of the World Pharmacist Day celebrations.

Students and faculty marched with enthusiasm, raising slogans such as “Proud to be a Pharmacist” and spreading awareness about the vital contribution of pharmacists in healthcare and medicine. The rally aimed to instill pride in the profession and highlight the indispensable role of pharmacists in society.

RKIOP Organizes Free Health Camp on World Pharmacist Day

On 25th September 2025, RK Institute of Pharmacy organized a Free Health Camp at Gandhi Udyan, Bareilly, to mark the occasion of World Pharmacist Day.

During the camp, students of RKIoP, along with doctors, evaluated the blood pressure, blood sugar, weight, height, and BMI of local citizens. Participants were also provided with appropriate medical advice and awareness about maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

The initiative reflected the institute’s commitment to community welfare and highlighted the important role of pharmacists in promoting public health.

Day 4 of National Pharmacovigilance Week at RKIOP

On 22, September 2025, RK Institute of Pharmacy continued the National Pharmacovigilance Week with a lecture on the theme “Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Pharmacovigilance (PV)”.

The session introduced students to the integration of AI with pharmacovigilance practices, highlighting how technology can enhance drug safety monitoring, data analysis, and reporting. Students gained valuable insights into the future scope and opportunities at the intersection of these two evolving disciplines.

Day 3 of National Pharmacovigilance Week at RKIoP

On 19th September 2025, RK Institute of Pharmacy continued its National Pharmacovigilance Week celebrations with a hands-on seminar on Pharmacovigilance (PV) reporting.

Students were trained in real-time Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) monitoring through the official portal adrpvpi.com, gaining practical exposure to the reporting process. The session enhanced their understanding of drug safety surveillance and emphasized the critical role pharmacists play in protecting public health.

Day 2 of National Pharmacovigilance Week at RKIoP

On 18th September 2025, as part of the ongoing National Pharmacovigilance Week, RK Institute of Pharmacy hosted an online lecture by Dr. Piyush Jaiswal, Founder of GDC Coaching.

Dr. Jaiswal guided students on the importance of the GPAT examination as a gateway to higher studies and career opportunities, while also sharing valuable insights on the pharmaceutical profession in general. His session motivated students to focus on academic excellence and future prospects in the field of pharmacy.

RKIOP Celebrates National Pharmacovigilance Week

Beginning on 17th September 2025, RK Institute of Pharmacy launched the celebration of National Pharmacovigilance Week.

On the opening day, a lecture was conducted on the basics of pharmacovigilance and general terminologies, aimed at creating awareness among students about the importance of monitoring, assessing, and preventing adverse drug reactions.

The session provided valuable insights into the significance of pharmacovigilance in ensuring drug safety and protecting public health.

RKIOP Observes Vishwakarma Jayanti

On 17th September 2025, RK Institute of Pharmacy celebrated Vishwakarma Jayanti with devotion and enthusiasm. The program began with a traditional puja of Lord Vishwakarma, seeking blessings for knowledge, skill, and progress.

Faculty, staff, and students actively participated in the rituals, honoring the divine architect and symbol of craftsmanship. The celebration fostered a sense of unity and cultural tradition within the institute.

RKIOP Celebrates First Aid Day with Student Activities

On 13th September 2025, RK Institute of Pharmacy celebrated First Aid Day with a series of engaging and informative activities. Students gave presentations on basic first aid, and performed a skit on snake bite management and rabies vaccination awareness.

The event concluded with an interactive lecture covering essential day-to-day first aid practices, including management of burns, wrong medication, and drug overdose. The program successfully enhanced awareness among students about the importance of first aid in everyday life.

Orientation Program 2025 at RK Institute of Pharmacy

On 9th September 2025, RK Institute of Pharmacy organized an online lecture as part of its Orientation Program 2025. The session was delivered by Mr. Prashant Kumar Singh, Production Manager at Alembic Pharma Pvt. Ltd., Vadodara, Gujarat.

Mr. Singh explained the intricacies and practical aspects of the pharmaceutical industry, while also highlighting how the pharmacy course equips students with the skills needed for real-world applications. His insights provided valuable guidance and inspiration to the new batch of students.

Session by PharmaTutor Founder Inspires Students at RK Institute of Pharmacy. As part of the Orientation Program 2025, RK Institute of Pharmacy hosted an engaging online session by Mr. Rajesh Wagh, Founder of PharmaTutor. Mr. Wagh elaborated on the extent and vast spectrum of the pharmaceutical profession, highlighting diverse career avenues in industry, research, and healthcare. He also shared practical tips and guidance for students to excel in their academic journey and prepare for future opportunities. The session was highly appreciated by the students, who gained a broader perspective on the potential and scope of the pharma profession.

World Suicide Prevention Day

R.K. Institute of Pharmacy marked World Suicide Prevention Day on September 10 with a special event featuring prominent neuropsychiatrist Dr. Abhilasha Gupta. The session aimed to combat the stigma surrounding mental health and raise awareness about suicide prevention. Dr. Gupta’s talk, centered on this year’s theme, “Changing the Narrative on Suicide,” provided valuable insights into identifying warning signs and the importance of open dialogue. The event, attended by students and faculty, underscored the institute’s commitment to promoting a supportive and healthy campus environment.

Father of Pharmacy Education in India

RK Institute of Pharmacy observed the death anniversary of Prof. M. L. Shroff, fondly remembered as the “Father of Pharmacy Education in India.” Faculty and students paid tribute to his immense contributions in shaping the Indian pharmacy education system and establishing its strong foundation.

On this occasion, speakers highlighted Prof. Shroff’s vision and dedication, which continue to inspire generations of pharmacy professionals. The event concluded with a pledge to uphold his ideals and work towards excellence in pharmaceutical education and research.

Navgrah Vatika @ RK Group of Institutions

On Independence Day, RK Group of Institutions inaugurated a unique Navgrah Vatika in its campus. The green initiative was launched by Chairman Dr. Ravi Mehra, symbolizing nine sacred plants representing the nine planets.
Dr. Mehra shared that the Vatika will serve as a blend of tradition, spirituality, and environmental awareness, inspiring students to connect with nature. The inauguration was held alongside the Independence Day celebrations in the presence of students, faculty, and staff.

RK Institute of Pharmacy visited Bareilly College

On August 6, 2025, students of RK Institute of Pharmacy visited Bareilly College to take part in a state-level tablet distribution program organized under the UP Free Tablet & Smartphone Yojana, a key component of the Swami Vivekananda Youth Empowerment Scheme. During the event, Hon’ble Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath personally distributed tablets to eligible students, aiming to promote digital inclusion and support online learning among youth pursuing higher and technical education. The initiative was well-received, and the students expressed their appreciation for the government’s efforts to enhance educational access through technology.

On August 5, 2025, the Bareilly Orthopaedic Association organized a CPR awareness session at RK Institute of Pharmacy, where a senior anaesthesiologist demonstrated life-saving CPR techniques and conducted hands-on training for faculty and students. The interactive session aimed to enhance emergency preparedness among healthcare professionals, receiving enthusiastic participation and appreciation from the institute.

02-May Tablets were distributed to the pharmacy students in RK Group of Institutions, the chief guest of the program was Dr. Shyam Bihari Lal, MLA, Faridpur. The program was started with lamp lighting followed by the speech of Dr. Shyam Bihari Lal, Dr. Ravi Mehra, Chairman and with the Oath ceremony of Pharmacy students conducted by Dr. Ajit Kumar Yadav, Director. Students were happy after getting the Tabs which will be helpful in their higher studies.

25-Apirl One day International Seminar was organized at R.K Group of Institutions of Pharmacy. The theme of the seminar was “Current Trends in Pharmaceutical Sciences”. The program was inaugurated with Saraswati Pujan by Chief Guest Shri Ajay Kumar Upadhyay, SDM, Faridpur and Dr. Basit Ali, Medical Officer, CHC, Faridpur.

Both the guests encouraged the students in their speeches. The chairman, Dr. Ravi Mehra, RKGI, inspired the students to become the best pharmacists of pharmacy India. Dr. Manish Sharma inspired students to become self-reliant in API. Director Dr. Ajit Kumar Yadav told the purpose of the seminar to everyone.

06-April Health Day was celebrated in RK Group of Institutions on 06-04-2022. In this Essay, poster and quiz competition was organized. The program was inaugurated by Chairman Dr. Ravi Mehra and Dr. Kanwal Mehra. Students of B.Sc Nursing and ANM participated in essay poster and quiz competition. In Hindi essay writing, Pinky stood first, Sulekha second, and Nancy third. Neha stood first, Pushpendra second and Bharti third in English essay writing. Angel Soumya stood first, Priya and Happy Solanki second, and Lakshmi third in the poster competition.In the quiz competition, Diamond team won the Vijay Trophy by getting the highest marks. In his presidential address during the event, Dr. Ravi Mehra always informed the students about the health benefits of being health conscious and conservation of nature. Director Professor Shiv Shankar Tyagi and Dr. Ajit Yadav, Administrative Officer Thomas Kurian, Marketing Head Vivek Mishra, Dr. Shalu, Richa, Rajni, Suman, Dr. Jasobanta, Vishwas Saxena etc. were present during the program.
